Infrastructure and Roadway Alerts

  • Route 67 to I-55: The southbound ramp of Route 67 to northbound I-55 will be closed from 8:00 PM tonight until 5:00 AM Friday morning for maintenance.
  • I-55 Ongoing Construction: Lane closures continue on southbound I-55 from I-44 to Weber Road. Additionally, the Virginia on-ramp to southbound I-55 and the Germania ramp to northbound I-55 remain closed as part of long-term infrastructure improvements.

Upcoming Service Deadlines

The application period for the Private Property Assistance Program, which provides aid for home repairs following previous storm events, expires on February 28, 2026. Furthermore, the Refuse Division will conclude its specialized tornado debris removal service on February 28. After this date, standard bulk pickup regulations will resume.
