City Legislative Updates: Board of Aldermen

This ordinance directs the Director of Streets to install speed humps in the 13th Ward to address local traffic calming and safety concerns. Department of Health: Influenza and Respiratory Virus Advisory

As of February 2026, Influenza A remains the dominant strain, accounting for the vast majority of reported cases in the city. MoDOT Infrastructure and Roadway Advisories

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced several active work zones impacting travel in the St. Louis area this weekend. Motorists are advised to plan for delays or seek alternate routes for the following closures:

• Conway Road: Conway Road is closed to all through traffic under I-64. This closure is necessary for interstate bridge removal and is scheduled to remain in effect until 5:00 AM on Monday, February 9.

For those requiring housing assistance or warming centers, the Department of Human Services has established tiered response levels to ensure a scalable and predictable city-wide response. Additionally, the Soulard neighborhood will host the annual Run for Your Beads 5K and the Taste of Soulard events on Saturday, February 7. Residents and visitors should expect increased pedestrian activity and intermittent local street restrictions in the Soulard district throughout the afternoon.
