Official Public Notice: St. Louis City Meetings, Health Advisories, and Service Updates

Official City Meeting Schedule: Tuesday, February 10, 2026
The City of St. Louis has scheduled several public meetings and committee sessions for today, Tuesday, February 10. Residents are encouraged to participate and stay informed on local governance and infrastructure projects.
- St. Louis Area Agency on Aging (SLAAA) Advisory Council Meeting: 9:00 AM at the SLAAA offices. Meeting materials and agendas are available for review through the Department of Health.
- Board of Aldermen - Transportation and Commerce Committee: 9:00 AM. The committee will review Board Bills 25 and other relevant transit legislation.
- Planning & Urban Design Agency - RFP Pre-Submittal Meetings: A virtual meeting for the Pop-Up Demonstration Activation Program will occur at 9:00 AM, followed by a meeting for Neighborhood Planning Consulting Services at 10:00 AM.
- Board of Aldermen - Housing, Urban Development and Zoning (HUDZ): 11:00 AM. Public hearings for Board Bills 128 and 147 are on the agenda.
- Board of Public Service Meeting: 1:45 PM. Regular session for the discussion of city infrastructure and public works permits.
- Legislation & Rules Committee: 2:00 PM. Review of Board Bills 54 and 137.
Public Health Advisory: Seasonal Influenza Activity
The City of St. Louis Department of Health continues to monitor a significant increase in influenza activity throughout the region. Residents are advised to take preventive measures, including regular handwashing and staying home if symptomatic. The Department of Health urges those who have not yet received their annual flu vaccine to do so, particularly individuals in high-risk groups such as those 65 and older, pregnant women, and children under five. Health clinics are offering walk-in services to assist in mitigating the spread of Influenza A and B.
Public Service Announcements & Reminders
- President’s Day Trash Schedule: The Refuse Division reminds residents that the roll cart collection schedule will be adjusted for the President’s Day holiday on Monday, February 16. Residents with Monday/Thursday pickups will move to Tuesday/Thursday, while Tuesday/Friday pickups will shift to Wednesday/Friday.
- Tornado Recovery Assistance: The deadline for private property assistance for residents impacted by the May 2025 tornado is February 28, 2026. Eligible services include debris removal, demolition, and stabilization work. Applications must be submitted through the City of St. Louis website.
- Neighborhood Assessor Meeting: Lindenwood Park residents are invited to a real estate assessment meeting today at 6:00 PM to discuss appraisals and property valuations.
