The City of St. Louis Department of Health has issued an active advisory following a significant spike in Influenza A cases across the metropolitan area. Traffic Alert: Major Roadwork and Interchange Closures
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced several high-impact traffic adjustments effective today that will impact the morning and evening commutes:
- Interstate 44: From 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, two eastbound lanes will be closed between Kingshighway and Jefferson for essential pavement maintenance.

Community Notice: Mayor’s Mardi Gras Ball at City Hall
The 24th annual Mayor’s Mardi Gras Ball returns to its historic home in the City Hall Rotunda this evening, February 13, starting at 7:00 PM. This event will occupy all four floors of the building to support community improvement grants. Due to the gala, residents should expect increased pedestrian traffic around 1200 Market Street and restricted public access to the rotunda area starting early this afternoon.
