Dylan Holloway returns from ankle injury with hat trick as Blues beat Kraken 5-1 Thursday

Holloway’s three-goal night anchors Blues’ first game after the Olympic break
ST. LOUIS — Dylan Holloway scored three goals in his return from a right high ankle sprain, helping the St. Louis Blues open play after the Olympic break with a 5-1 win over the Seattle Kraken on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, at Enterprise Center.
The 24-year-old forward added an assist for a four-point night, a single-game career high. The performance came after an extended stretch on the sidelines: Holloway had missed 23 of the Blues’ previous 24 games and had been out eight straight entering Thursday.
Game flow: early strike, Seattle response, then a decisive second period
Holloway opened the scoring at 7:58 of the first period, finishing from the left circle after a setup from behind the net. Seattle pulled even later in the period when Kaapo Kakko converted a rebound to make it 1-1 at 12:32.
The game turned early in the second period. Jordan Kyrou put St. Louis ahead 2-1 at 1:12, and Holloway made it 3-1 just 23 seconds later at 1:35 by finishing a net-front rebound play. The quick sequence gave the Blues separation on the scoreboard and shifted the game’s direction before the period was four minutes old.
